The “Spaces and Digital Platforms” project is responsible for creating the IT platforms and technologically equipped classrooms to support the teaching and research activities of the Department of Foreign Languages and Literatures in the Digital Humanities context.
As regards teaching, the University eLearning platform will be adapted to allow the provision of courses according to innovative blended teaching methods.
Particular attention will be paid to providing the eLearning platform with digital technologies to help students with disabilities.
New departmental spaces will also be created (Digital Lab, Digital Classrooms, Aula DH) and be technologically equipped (IWB, audio / video-recording tools, computer stations) for the preparation and delivery of blended lessons, for the training activities of micro-teaching as well as for teaching in the Digital Humanities context.
As for scientific research, a new platform will be created to distribute and facilitate access to the resources developed by the Department (databases, linguistic resources, corpora) according to the best open-data practices.
Finally, a dedicated platform will be created to collect and make the journals edited by the Department available in open access mode.
